This position is responsible for performing various administrative activities required to support departmental functions and objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and distribute weekly / monthly reports to support quality metrics and objectives
    • Material Review Board (MRB) / Corrective Action Report (CAR) / Material Review Requests (MRR) / Waiver / Deviations (PDAR) /Scrap / Rework.
    • Cost of Poor Quality and Parts Per Million Report for Kearfott MSD and Kearfott Corp.
  • Manage approved supplier requirements
    • Set up and maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL); Process supplier surveys and update ASL in IFS (ERP). Communicate approval to suppliers. Obtain new Certifications / Surveys as required. Assure supplier scorecards contact addresses are kept updated.
    • Oversee supplier special process approvals including Nadcap and customer approvals.
    • Set up new Purchase Parts in IFS.
    • Create Quality-Clauses; update existing Q-Clauses; update Q-Clause list for internet.
    • Assist Buyers with IFS ASL issues.
    • Submit and process Supplier CARs as needed.
    • Process Waivers / MRR requests for suppliers; assign number, add to database and send to appropriate personnel for approval. Once approved, send copy to the Supplier/Buyer and distribution list including Incoming Inspection.
  • Maintain log of Notice of Changes (NOCs) and ensure that affected documents are approved and formatted correctly.
  • Maintain customer portal access for scorecards, quality requirements, special processes, etc.
  • Maintain customer scorecard reports; post monthly and add to Management Review Committee (MRC) and Board charts.
  • Communicate customer Quality Alerts and updates to customer quality requirements.
  • Process quotation and PO for customer quality requirements such as Source Inspection.
  • Maintain MRC Presentation Requirements. Prepare and Distribute MRC metrics to Process Owners for input. Document and Update RAIL actions. Update Quality bulletin board and intranet with MRC Presentation.
  • Submit DCMA Contract Technical Data Requests.
  • Oversee and coordinate all Kearfott Matamoros returns.
  • Suggestion Team member. Determine suggestion approvals, assist with follow up to assure completion of implementation.
  • Any special projects as requested.

Required Skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office package
  • Excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills required
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Required Experience
  • High School or equivalent and at least 5 years related work experience
  • Must have experience using an ERP, experience with IFS a plus
  • Familiarity with AS 9100 and DOD requirements desired.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available.
  • Must be able to work on U.S. government programs and/or obtain security clearance in the future.
