Position Summary
The Admission Recruiter's primary responsibility is to assist with the recruitment of students
through in-person and virtual programming both on-campus and through travel. Additionally, the recruiter plans and assists with communications, events, and activities needed to assist prospective students in enrolling at UNC Asheville.

Minimum Education/Experience/Skills
The Admission Recruiter position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and the ability to travel in the Charlotte area and other areas of the state.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
Preferred qualifications:

  • Recent office work experience

  • Extensive knowledge and enthusiasm about UNC Asheville's curriculum, campus life, and overall educational opportunities

  • Effective communication (oral and written) and data management skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be successful in this position, the candidate selected must possess high
interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills.

Work Schedule and Hours
Normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Evenings and weekends
may be required as needed.
